Milo worked for me as an AD on my short film The Ticket Seller. He was quick, efficient, and organized, always one step ahead of shooting. It was a small film with a lot of the burden ofscheduling /organizing falling on me, so it was a relief to be able to share that work load with someone I knew could get the job done well. He made everything run smoothly.
Milo was also able to bring in several people from his network to help round out the crew. They were all fantastic workers. I’m so glad he worked on the production.

Milo Teplin is synonymous with hard work and organization-under- pressure in my book. We worked together in a production context - on set for the second season of a critically-acclaimed web series. I have had the pleasure to work with Milo on several occasions in my capacity as the Lead Producer and Artistic Director of Intimation Productions. Intimation Productions is a creative company involved in the production of film, theatre, music videos, photography, live events, and more. As a one-stop production house and collaborative arts collective, the Intimation team and our extended family of creative colleagues bring projects to fruition from start to finish. At present, I am writing to recommend Milo Teplin, a talented and hardworking individual, without reservation. I have had the good fortune to observe Milo’ s skills and work ethic firsthand, and both are impressive. I was introduced to Milo’ s work in September of 2011 when I produced Family On Board, an action/drama short film by writer/director George Pogatsia. Milo’ s work was critical to the film. As our 2nd AD, he was entrusted with a wide variety of tasks, all of which he completed with the utmost professionalism and aptitude. Shortly thereafter, I hired Milo as 2nd AD on several days of additional scenes and pick-ups for the independent feature film Leaving Circadia. In the spring of 2012, I brought Milo on as 1st AD on a single-episode reality show created as a promotional tool for a successful executive job placement and headhunting company. More recently, in April of 2013, I hired Milo to work on the groundbreaking short film Boom Up! as both Co-Production Manager and Fight Choreographer. In each of my experiences working with Milo, I have been able to give him any task with confidence, knowing that it would be carried out promptly, efficiently, and correctly. Milo’ s enthusiasm for the art and dedication to the work were apparent from day one, and we have been fortunate to have him on set.
In my extensive experience in film and television over the last 28 years, I have worked with many production crew members of varying skill level, temperament, and experience. Those who were successful and with whom I would want to work again had certain characteristics in common. They were kind and personable while at the same time firm and focused. They had strength of character and mastery of communication skills. Essential characteristics included excellent people skills and time management skills, as well as a high level of proficiency in multi-tasking. Milo has all of these traits, either fully developed or well on their way. What he lacks in big-budget, major studio picture experience, he makes up for in drive and willingness to learn. He is an invaluable asset to any team.
